In the very near future, DistList mailings will be sent from a
different host than we have used until now, and the headers will
look a little different. Other than that, nothing is changing
(though plans for a number of improvements are under way). All
submissions and replies to postings are still to be sent to
consdist [at] lindy__stanford__edu and all administrative requests (changes
of email address or ConsDir information, requests to subscribe or
unsubscribe to consdist-request [at] lindy__stanford__edu.

The only change that will affect some of you is that the mail
headers will be a bit different, so if you are using a spam filter,
you may have to adjust your configurations to allow DistList mailing
to reach you. Here are some details you can use for filtering:

The Precedence header line will always be set to "list", i.e.

    Precedence: list

The Subject header line will always *begin* with "[ConsDistList]",
e.g.

    Subject: [ConsDistList]

The Sender: header line will always be set like this:

    To: The Conservation DistList <consdistlist [at] lists__Stanford__EDU>
