The National Archives and Records Administration is posting two
additional positions in the Preservation Programs Office.

Preservation Projects Officer, National Archives and Records
Administration, GS-1001-14, in the Office of Records Service,
Preservation Programs (NWT) has been posted on the USAJOBS website.
The incumbent serves as a member of the senior management team and
as a project director or team member in coordinating, developing and
reviewing NARA activities relating to the preservation needs,
maintenance, and reformatting of textual and non-textual archival
records and historical materials nationwide.  Provides technical
expertise for broad preservation management and  technical
assistance for cost-effective preservation to senior NARA

National Preservation Program Specialist, National Archives and
Records Administration, GS-1001-11, in the Office of Records
Service, Preservation Programs (NWT) has been posted on the USAJOBS
website.  The announcement opens 04-18-06; closes 05-02-06.  The
incumbent assists the National Preservation Program Officers for the
NARA Presidential Libraries and the Office of Regional Services to
review and refine existing preservation programs including,
environmental specification and monitoring, insect pest management
and disaster planning at facilities throughout the country.  The
incumbent assists in the development of written preservation
publications and guidance and assists in the preparation of
preservation training curriculums among other duties. Vacancy

05-02-06.
