Creases in polyester

I have recently experienced great problems with removing creases
from a contemporary powwow dress made from a polyester fabric
commercially printed with a holographic pattern. Has anyone else
experienced difficulty in removing creases from woven polyester
textiles or any other textiles made from thermoplastic fibres? If so
what treatments were tried and were any found to be effective?
