XIth IADA Congress
50th Anniversary of IADA

The International Association of Book and Paper Conservators (IADA)
invites contributions to its XIth International Congress, to be held
17-21 September 2007 in Vienna, Austria. This congress will
celebrate the 50th anniversary of IADA.

The editorial board invites papers and posters on all subjects of
book and paper conservation and preservation. Presentations focusing
on latest developments in the profession such as collection risk
management, outcomes of scientific research projects, art technology
and ethical considerations in conservation, are particularly
welcome. Submissions will be considered for presentation on the
basis of their relevance, quality, originality and importance to the
field. Congress languages will be English and German. Deadline for
the submission of abstracts is 1 September 2006. Abstracts should
not exceed 250 words and should be submitted by email to
birgit.reissland [at] icn__nl. Please download and use the abstract
template at <URL:http://palimpsest.stanford.edu/iada/ta07_abs.dot>.
Abstracts must be written both in English and in German. If
necessary, a German translation of the abstract may be provided upon
request. Selected papers of presentations will be published in
subsequent issues of "PapierRestaurierung, Mitteilungen der IADA".
