Custom Framing Assistant Chicago Conservation Center The Chicago Conservation Center is expanding the activities of our Custom Framing Department and is seeking experienced framers. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the Senior Framer on professional matting, conservation framing and frame repair projects for private, institutional and corporate collections. Qualifications include three years experience in a professional framing environment, training in conservation standards and college degree, MA preferred. Excellent organizational, written and computer skills required, along with a proven ability to independently manage time and undertake directed tasks. The Chicago Conservation Center was established 22 years ago to serve the conservation needs of both private collectors and public institutions. The Center's staff includes specialists in the following departments: Paintings, Works of Art on Paper, Textiles, Murals, Frames, Objects and Furniture.
