Repairing acrylic sheeting

I am seeking repair options for mending cracked white acrylic
sheeting. The face of the 61 x 46 x 3/16 inch sheet I am referring
to, is rendered with a silkscreen print and object appliques, which
leaves the back as the likeliest site from which to administer any
type of support.  This work is slated to be exhibited for the end of
March, 2006. I would welcome any suggestions or approaches based on
solutions with similar circumstances. More info available upon
