Assistant Upholstery Conservator Assistant Furniture Conservator Museum of Fine Arts, Boston The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston is accepting applications for an assistant upholstery conservator position to join the Furniture and Frame Conservation lab. The successful candidate will examine, study, and treat a wide range of American and European upholstered furniture designated for exhibition in the Museum's new American wing and renovated European galleries due to open in 2010. The Museum's collections include a comprehensive range of furniture and other wooden objects from America, Europe and Asia from the 17th to the 20th centuries. Research and technical examination of the collections will be encouraged. Candidates must have a graduate degree in conservation or equivalent training. This is a four-year, term position renewed in one-year increments.
