Introduction to Laser Cleaning in Conservation Course

Conservation Technologies
The Conservation Centre
National Museums Liverpool
U.K.

The above course will be run on the following dates:

    13-14 March 2006
    15-16 May 2006
    11-12 September 2006
    20-21 November 2006

This 2-day course provides an introduction to the use of laser
cleaning in conservation. It is aimed at conservators with no or
very little experience of this technique. Numbers are restricted to
5 per course, allowing a significant amount of practical work. By
the end of the course, the conservator will have a good
understanding of how laser cleaning works, the type of work to which
it is suited and the practical aspects of working with a laser.
