The Library Book and paper Conservation Studio is a well-established
regional centre for paper-based materials and has an international
reputation.  For three months in the first instance, this full-time
post offers a stimulating opportunity to work on significant
collections of rare books from a range of sources.  The appointed
conservator will join the existing staff of paper and book
conservators working in a dynamic and friendly atmosphere.

Minimum requirements for applicants are a qualification in book or
paper conservation, together with a demonstrated ability in the
conservation of rare books.  The post would suit a recent graduate.
Self-motivation and enthusiasm are essential.
