NEA Advanced Training Fellowship in Paintings Conservation Carnegie Museum of Art Conservation Division The Carnegie Museum of Art is offering a one-year post-graduate paintings conservation fellowship supported by the National Endowment for the Arts. Start date is summer 2006. The fellowship will focus on the examination, treatment and documentation of contemporary and modern paintings at the Carnegie Museum of Art and research related to its collections. The fellowship stipend is $27,000 including a travel allowance, with possibility of renewal for a second year (pending funding). Graduates from recognized training programs or candidates with equivalent training would be considered. The degree must have been obtained within the last five years. Upon hire, Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh requires that all employees are able to show proof of their eligibility to work in the United States, per federal law.
