Monitoring light

We are currently investigating purchasing equipment to monitor light
and UV levels in display and storage areas in our museum.  We have a
small range of equipment capable of providing spot readings, but are
very interested in the prospect of data logging equipment for this
purpose and also Lightcheck strips.  Could anyone with recent
experience (good and bad) in light monitoring equipment and strips
please report?
