I am glad to hear that you feel that Hanwell software corrected this
problem. I am always happy to be corrected as products change and
are updated. As you may remember we at NMAI contacted you about
this issue two years ago as we were archiving our data from the NMAI
Research Branch but the issue was never resolved. The terrific
thing about the Climate Notebook software though is that with a bit
of elbow grease it all worked out.

Regarding the Eltek, I followed up on this reference and,
apparently, the Eltek is now available in the US. I am in touch
with the company and look forward to reviewing their product. As
you state though the issue of battery life and transmission distance
for the signal are certainly key factors for someone evaluating a
wireless system.
