Salary up to UKP27k British Pounds depending on experience and
qualifications

The National Monuments Record (NMR) is the public archive of English
Heritage, containing over 10 million photographs, maps, plans and
drawings relating to the historic environment of England.

As Conservator, you will provide a high quality and cost effective
conservation service for the NMR through in-house work and
management of external contracts.

You will advise on preventative conservation measures of the NMR
collections and research and develop conservation procedures and
policies for the large photographic collections.

You must have a recognised qualification in archive conservation and
significant practical experience. You must have demonstrable
competency in a range of archive conservation procedures, with a
particular awareness of conservation issues posed by photographic
materials.
