Caroline Villers Research Fellowship

I am writing to ask you to help support  the Caroline Villers
Research Fellowship, which was established at the Courtauld
Institute of Art following Caroline's sudden death in December last
year.  The Fellowship will be annually awarded to researchers and
practitioners from diverse disciplines that focus on technical art
history, an area of study of which Caroline was a pioneer.

As a truly dedicated effort on the part of one of Caroline's former
conservation students, Morwenna Blewett plans to run the New York
Marathon on November 6th in memory of Caroline.  In doing so she
seeks sponsorship to help raise money for the Fellowship.  I hope
that you will be generous in your sponsorship for Morwenna's run,
which will in turn help to fund the Caroline Villers Research
Fellowship.

All gifts received will be directed to the Fellowship.  Donations in
the US should be made payable to the Somerset House Art History
Foundation and are tax deductible for American income tax purposes.
