Photocatalytic oxidation

Has anyone had experience using the photocatalytic oxidation
technology in air systems for archives or collection storage? This
technology is used in hospitals and labs and residences for air
purification, with particular emphasis on removal of bacterial,
viral and other organics.

The suggestion has been made that it might be effective in archives
for preventing mold spores.

An example of the technology:

description of the technology is available from that page as well.

Pros? cons?
