Synthrapol

Does anyone know anything about a detergent known as Jacquard
Synthrapol (Rupert Gibbon and Spider, Inc) available in weaving
stores? The label states it is a neutral liquid detergent, it is
listed in the MSDS as a polyethoxyethylene alcohol, and is used in
the Textile/dye industry as a pre-washing and wetting agent for
textiles in preparation for dyeing. If I read the Dow site
correctly, this seems to be the same or similar to Triton X-80N. It
has a pH of 5 in the bottle, and 7 in solution.
