Permanent, part-time (0.5 FTE, 17.5 hours per week)

Applications are invited for two new part-time posts in the
Conservation and Collections Care Section. The posts offer an
exciting opportunity to work with designated fine and decorative art
collections as part of a strong team within a major regional art
gallery service. You will have a relevant qualification in
conservation, a minimum of 2 years experience, and the ability to
plan and prioritise work. You will be an enthusiastic advocate for
conservation, and be committed to raising standards and providing a
high quality of service. By special arrangement, it will be possible
for the post holder to work on a freelance basis outside of their
contracted hours. If pursuing this, the post holder would be
encouraged to prioritise any externally funded work generated by our
loans and exhibitions programme within their freelance work
