Paper Conservator
UKP21,375 - UKP26,512 per annum (one year fixed term contract)

    We are seeking an excellent practical conservator for a period
    of one year, to understanding of materials and treatments, be
    able to work on a diverse range of works of art on paper, and
    will be informed and knowledgeable about professional
    conservation issues. You will have a degree (or equivalent) in a
    relevant subject, plus a professional paper conservation
    qualification and at least two years' relevant work experience.
    A good communicator and team member, you will be organised,
    methodical, adept at problem solving, and will have good ICT
    skills.

Assistant Textile Conservator

(initially one year fixed term contract)

    We are seeking an able practical conservator, initially for a
    period of one year, to support all aspects of the conservation
    of the textile and related collections, including loans and
    exhibitions. You will have a theoretical understanding of
    materials and treatments, and will be aware of professional
    conservation issues and best practice. With a degree (or
    equivalent) in a relevant subject, you will also have a
    professional conservation qualification and at least six months'
    relevant work experience. You will be adept at problem solving,
    able to manage your time and work, alone or with others, to meet
    deadlines, and will have good communication and ICT skills.
