Doctoral Preservation Fellowships University of Texas at Austin School of Information The University of Texas at Austin School of Information has launched an innovative PhD Fellowship initiative to educate doctoral students in the fields of preservation administration, preservation policy, and digital preservation. With a generous grant from the Institute for Museum and Library Services, the School is able to offer to three full-time doctoral students significant living stipends, full tuition, and support for travel to conferences for two years beginning with the fall 2006 semester. We are interested in applicants whose academic and professional backgrounds might include preservation administration, conservation, archives, digital libraries, digital preservation, media preservation, and information policy, to name a few.
