Conservation Department and is seeking an additional Senior Painting
Conservator.

Responsibilities include examination and treatment of paintings from
the 17th Century to contemporary works.  The position requires a
graduate degree in painting conservation from a recognized
institution, with a minimum of 5 years of work experience in the
field.  Excellent writing, documentation, and communication skills
preferred.

The Chicago Conservation Center was established twenty-two years ago
to serve the conservation needs of private, public, and
institutional collections. The Center is a member of AIC and IIC and
its 22 staff members work in departments of Painting, Paper,
Textiles, Murals, Frames, and Disaster Recovery.  A competitive
benefits package and salary of $50,000 to $80,000, based on
qualifications and experience, are offered.  The Chicago
