The Third Forbes Symposium on Scientific Research in the Field of
Asian Art will be held September 29-October 1, 2005 in Washington,
DC.  The theme will be "Studies of the Sculptural Arts of Asia using
Scientific Methods".

For those interested in attending the symposium, there will be no
conference fee but registration is necessary. Space is limited.
Pre-conference registration is available until September 15, 2005 at
