The Society of Rocky Mountain Archivists (SRMA) proudly announces a
new address for its web site: <URL:http://www.srmarchivists.org>.
Until recently, the University of Wyoming's American Heritage Center
hosted the web site that began in November 1998.

Information on the site includes meeting details, newsletters, Board
meeting minutes and advertisement of activities such as Archives
Month. The SRMA web site informs the membership, the larger
archival and preservation community, and the general public about
the organization's goals, activities and functions.

SRMA endeavors to disseminate information on research materials and
archival methodology, to provide a forum for the discussion of
matters of common concern, and to cooperate with other similar
cultural and educational organizations. In furtherance of these
objectives, SRMA unites those who champion the acquisition and
preservation of the evolving historical record and promotes access
to records for present and future generations.
