Temporary paper conservation position
Yale Center for British Art

Six-month conservation position. Starting date is flexible.
Experience in paper conservation required. Conservation experience
with rare books is desirable, but not required.  Position will work
with and under the direction of Chief Conservator. Conservation
studio is state of the art conservation laboratory in the Yale
Center for British Art, which is responsible for the preservation,
and conservation of paper based collections at both the Yale Center
for British Art and the Yale University Art Gallery. Collections
served at the Yale Center for British Art and Yale University Art
Gallery include: works of art on paper, rare books, manuscripts and
photographs. Salary is commensurate with experience. Varied
responsibilities include: conservation, examination and preparation
for loan, exhibition and permanent collections. Dynamic university
museum environment with excellent museum collections.
