Conservation and Interaction: Issues in Conservation and Display of Contemporary Paintings Kenneth Clark Lecture Theatre, Courtauld Institute of Art. Thursday 30 June 2005 This Seminar explores the theme of "How a gallery can integrate the preventive conservation of contemporary paintings with the requirements of public accessibility and interaction". It is aimed at art historians, conservators, curators and artists. The seminar seeks to open up discussion and explore different approaches. The speakers include: Jim Coddington (Museum of Modern Art, NY), Briony Fer (UCL), Tim Green and Briony Bery (Tate Modern), Tom Hale and Nathalie Lazarus (White Cube Gallery), and Carol Mancusi-Ungaro (Whitney Museum of American Art), and Robert McNab (The Artists on Film Trust).
