Lecture on preservation science

The Library of Congress will hold its next TOPS (Topics in
Preservation Science) lecture on Monday, May 16, 2005.

The lecturer is Dr. Carl Haber, Senior Scientist, Physics Division,
Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. His talk is entitled: "Using
Images to Reconstruct Sound Recordings: Progress and Prospects". The
lecture will be held at the Madison Building, Dining Room A, 6th
