Salary Level: VPS3.1 $44,580pa + 9% superannuation
Fixed Term: Initially 2 years

Applications are invited for the position of Conservator of
Photographs - Ref. 0098. This position is part of a team led by the
Senior Conservator of Paper, responsible for examination,
documentation and treatment of irreplaceable works of art. The
Photography Collection contains around 13,000 works.

The National Gallery of Victoria's Conservation Department operates
from new facilities within the NGV:International, located on St
Kilda Road, Melbourne.

We are seeking suitably qualified and experienced candidates.
Applicants must have a tertiary qualification from a recognised art
conservation training programme or equivalent, including appropriate
experience working in examination and treatment of art on paper
and/or photographs.
