"X-treme Installation in Hard Hats and Steel Toed Shoes: NMAI's
Inaugural Exhibitions By Susan Heald and Jessica Johnson,
Conservators at NMAI

The National Museum of the American Indian conservators faced some
interesting challenges last summer during the installation of the
new museum. Ongoing construction challenged conservators and
collection's staff to come up with innovative, cooperative solutions
for safe object installation. This talk will discuss how a sense of
humor was vital to survival in an X-treme installation environment
and how we were able to open the museum on time.

WCG Members Free/ Non-members $5.00
