AIC Objects Specialty Group election

The Objects Specialty Group (OSG) is soliciting candidates to run
for OSG Program Chair for the 2005-2006 term. Candidates must be a
member of the Objects Specialty Group (OSG).

The OSG Program Chair is a three-year commitment (June 2005-June
2008). The elected Program Chair automatically becomes the Group
Chair for the 2006-2007 term and Emeritus Chair for the 2007-2008
term.  The Program Chair will be responsible for organizing all
aspects of the OSG session at the 2006 annual AIC meeting.  The
Group Chair coordinates directly with the Board Specialty Group
Liaison and the AIC office.  S/he will write the OSG column for the
AIC Newsletter, coordinate activities of action committees, run the
annual business meeting, and act as general spokesperson for the
OSG. The Emeritus Chair serves the other officers in an advisory
role and provides an organizational memory for the group.  The
Emeritus Chair may continue to manage special projects begun during
her/his chairship or undertake new initiatives at the request of the
Group Chair.
