Summer Internship at Poggio Colla Excavation
Summer 2005

The Poggio Colla excavation is offering a 5 week summer internship
in archaeological conservation from July 1st through August 5th. The
project is located in northern Tuscany in the foothills of the
Apennine mountains. The intern should expect to work with finds that
include low-fired ceramics, mineralized metals and some glass, stone
and bone. Unfortunately, airfare is not covered but room and board
during the week will be provided as well as a small stipend for
weekend expenses. Some weekend work will be necessary.
