Subject: Meeting for Scottish conservation professionals
Open meeting for conservation professionals working in Scotland The merge of five conservation organisations in the UK is in full swing, and the formation of the new Institute of Conservation is well under way. In order to gather ideas for the Scottish group, the Scottish Society for Conservation and Restoration (SSCR) and Collections Care Forum (CCF) will organise a meeting to discuss the future. Please meet up at 6:30 p.m., Monday the 11th of April at St. Columba's by the Castle, 14 Johnston Terrace (beside the Hub) in Edinburgh, to discuss the future for the new organisation's Scottish group. You don't have to be a member of any of the merging organisations to participate. Topics for discussion: What will be the main aims and objectives for the Scottish group? The Scottish perspective--what can we do that will not be covered by the other parts of the Institute of Conservation? We look forward to seeing you there.
