Workshop on Grant Proposal Writing for Preservation and Digitization

This one-day workshop (May 26), sponsored by OCLC and taught by Tom
Clareson focuses on preparing for and writing grants for
digitization and/or preservation projects. The workshop includes
matching your institution's project with the appropriate funding
agency and preparing to write a proposal. The majority of the day is
spent covering the elements of a grant proposal with hands-on
practice in preparing a proposal. Evaluating appropriate funding
sources and project preparation will also be covered. Space is
limited, and workshop is subject to cancellation pending enough
registrants.  Costs:  Registration postmarked by April 15. SSA
members $85; non-members $95; students $80.  All fees increase by
$15 after April 15.
