Have you considered using fine silica powders which act as a
desiccant to the pest, by damaging its outer waxy coating?  5lbs of
dust (eg Drione) will treat approximately 4,000 sq ft apparently and
costs in the region of $125. Other alternatives to using chemicals
are traps and bait treated with boron compounds.
