Accreditation

I am a third year conservation degree student currently researching
for a dissertation with the working title,'accreditation in the UK
from an undergraduate perspective.' The aim is to improve students
level of awareness of the scheme, and ultimately produce a guideline
to aid their preparation for the process, should they decide to
participate. In order to provide a true representation of
accreditation and the current levels of uptake, I am hoping to
identify practicing conservators who would be willing to be
interviewed, and share their opinions and advice. It would be
beneficial to interview representatives of both the public and
private sectors, covering a range of geographical locations, and
specialisms. It is imperative that the dissertation be from an
impartial stand-point, and therefore, in addition to participants, I
would also wish to question abstainers of the scheme. All
interviewees would remain anonymous, and, if deemed necessary,
would be referred to only by geographical location and specialism.
