RFP: Museum mounts

Cultural and Leisure Services: Objects Mounts Packages
Kelvingrove New Century Project

Expressions of interest are invited from producers of specialist
museum mounts for inclusion in the tender list for the refurbishment
of Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. 20-25 individual packages
including internal showcase display fittings (shelves, plinths,
tray, rod systems etc), individual object mounts, figures for armour
and costume, arms and firearms, ethnography, archaeology, natural
history, decorative arts and sculpture mounts and specialists in
suspension of museum objects. Package values range from an estimated
UKP2,500-UKP135,000. Timescale from April 2005 to April 2006 on a
rolling programme.

questionnaire, should be sent to:

to be returned no later than Wednesday Mar 9, 2005. Glasgow City
Council reserves the right to accept other than the lowest tender or
to accept no tender at all.
