Glossary of Conservation I is the first dictionary written in
English about conservation concepts. The glossary/dictionary
provides not only definitions of conservation terms, but also gives
references to previously published sources. For example: "Impasto:

Audience: Art historians, conservators, restorers and curators.

The Author: Mireia Xarrie Poveda is an art historian (Universitat
Autonoma de Barcelona, 1994) and art restorer (third generation of a
family with a long tradition in art conservation,

in the Barcelona-based family restoration business, she worked on
several international conservation projects (e.g. mural paintings in
Basel, Switzerland and Oxirrinc, Egypt).
