Two Year Master of Arts Program

A new MA program, unique in the world, brings together the resources
and expertise of George Eastman House International Museum of
Photography and Film in Rochester, New York and The School of Image
Arts at Ryerson University in Toronto.

Over two years spent at Ryerson and George Eastman House, students
will complete thirteen half courses, an internship, and a
professional practice project designed to provide a blend of
historical knowledge, practical experience and professional
education. Course offerings include seminars in photographic
materials and history, curatorial practice and practicums, taught by
preservation and conservation professionals.
