Publication on cooperative conservation

If people have not seen the new Museum International issue on
Partnerships (Volume 56, Issue 4, December 2004) produced with the
Getty Conservation Institute they are in for a treat.  This issue
provides a very thorough resource on working in different venues and
gives a useful amount of background from many examples of how people
have developed cooperative enterprises to conserve and restore in a
variety of contexts.

They have built a bridge of understanding and produced the tools
that I think many can profit from.  The article on Stari Most is
inspiring and the Hungarian soldiers who saved fragments of this
historic bridge deserve a great deal of praise.
