Project Conservator For Cusworth Hall and Park, Doncaster Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council Education and Culture Directorate Museums Service Scale 3 UKP13,953 - UKP14,931 pa Temporary Post (20 months) Cusworth Hall and Park has been awarded a UKP5 million HLF grant towards its restoration. We are now seeking an enthusiastic professional to work with the Museum team to prepare collections for re-display. You will be responsible to the Keeper of Conservation and work with colleagues and volunteers to ensure that conservation work on the important social history collections is undertaken to the highest standards. You will decide upon treatment procedures, document work undertaken and supervise conservation volunteers. You will assist in the packing and movement of objects between the various Museum service sites and Cusworth Hall itself. You should be self-motivated, flexible and well organised with good interpersonal skills. You will also have a relevant degree and some practical experience of the conservation of social history objects. You will also be required to use a computer and digital camera.
