The National Museums of Scotland <URL:http://www.nms.ac.uk> aims to
be a world class museums service which educates, informs and
inspires. Over the past two years, we have redefined our vision and
priorities and begun reshaping ourselves as an organisation and how
we operate. We continue to make progress in enhancing our services
to the public, improving the quality of our museum sites, finding
new ways to make our collections publicly accessible and attracting
a larger and broader audience.

NMS has recently received a Concorde from British Airways; this is
housed at the Museum of Flight, East Fortune, East Lothian, for
which an ambitious development programme is planned. We are seeking
two enthusiastic and self motivated professionals to be part of a
team responsible for the conservation of NMS's technological
collections, particularly the aviation and associated collections
held largely at the Museum of Flight.
