Conference on consolidation

The Gilding and Decorative Surface's Section, of the Institute  of
Conservation Consolidation Conference Papers are being prepared at
the moment for this most interesting Conference.

Speakers, include Marianne Webb from the Royal Ontario  Museum,
Timothy Hayes from the National Heritage Board, Singapore and Velson
Horie author  of Materials for Conservation and Keeper of
Conservation at the Manchester Museum, and many others from the
private sector.

Papers include "What happens when all your favourite consolidants
don't work?", "Treating reverse glass painting and Verre-eglomise",
"Understanding and use of modern epoxy and polymer consolidants and
infillers", "The effects consolidation has upon musical instruments
and the "Science of both synthetic and natural materials used in
this subject".
