Subject: Photocopiers
Julia Merkel <merkeljm [at] jmu__edu> writes >Does anyone have experience with "Binder Minder" book safe platen >covers for copy machines? ... We have recently had one installed on a Canon copier. It works really well for books though oversized books are still difficult. The downside to the binder minder is the lid. It is a soft close so that it will not hurt books but when you have paper to copy, you must hold the lid down and even then it is not a tight seal so that a dark border appears on the copies. Also, you lose the automatic feed on the lid with the binder minder. Janet L. Dotterer Archives and Special Collections Helen A.
