We have recently had one installed on a Canon copier. It works
really well for books though oversized books are still difficult.
The downside to the binder minder is the lid. It is a soft close so
that it will not hurt books but when you have paper to copy, you
must hold the lid down and even then it is not a tight seal so that
a dark border appears on the copies. Also, you lose the automatic
feed on the lid with the binder minder.
