Applications are invited for the position of conservator at Lambeth
Palace Library <URL:http://www.lambethpalacelibrary.org>. This post
is on a fixed term basis for one year. The successful candidate will
work under the Senior Conservator.

The post is funded by a consortium of Lambeth Palace Library, the
Church of England Record Centre and Westminster Abbey Muniment Room
and Library; and you will work on the collections of the member
bodies. This will include paper and parchment repair and binding.

The Library's Conservation Studio, refitted to modern standards, is
housed in the Tudor gatehouse of the Palace, overlooking the Thames
in Central London.

You will have a degree, diploma or other recognised qualification in
archive conservation, preferably with at least one year's practical
experience.
