Presentation on environment

On Tuesday October 26 at Colonial Williamsburg there will be a
demonstration of:

    *   oxygen-free storage and treatment techniques

    *   monitoring illumination with LightCheck cumulative exposure
        indicators

    *   active microclimate control of humidity and temperature for
        display and storage

Participants will be provided with samples and hands-on instruction.
Ample time will be provided for questions.

The session will begin at 2:00 on October 26, 2004 in the Large
Conference Room in the Collections and Conservation building at
Colonial Williamsburg. (The building is located at 309 First St on
the Bruton Heights Education campus.  It is formally known as the
Dewitt Wallace Collections and Conservation Facility (but please be
aware there is also the Dewitt Wallace Decorative Arts Museum in
town which can be confusing).
