Subject: Instructors for conservation seminars sought
**** Moderator's comments: Please respond directly to the author. I organise international conservation seminars in Barcelona (Spain) and I'd like to contact professionals who would come to Barcelona and teach a seminar. The topics I'm interested in are: science for conservators and curators, identification of materials, identification techniques and conservation in general. The participants are conservators, curators and art historians. The seminars are translated to English and Spanish, seminars taught in French are welcomed too. I studied the 12th grade in a High school in Georgia, USA. Then I had my bachelor in Art History for the University Autonoma de Barcelona (UAB). >From my childhood I began to be interested in conservation and in the family workshop I learned painting restoration <URL:http://www.balaam-art.com/xarrie.html>. Before I finish my studies I was aboard learning some new techniques : workshop practices in Basel, Switzerland 1992 and in 1993 I went to an archaeological expedition to do some restorations in Oxirrinc, Egypt. In 1994 I opened my bookshop in Barcelona (close to the MACBA museum) specialized in conservation and museology books. This last four years I'm organising international conservation seminars.
