Symposium on archaeological conservation

We are pleased to announce the 2nd Symposium of the Archaeological
Objects Professional Group in the VDR (Verband der Restauratoren
e.V.) on the 28th and 29th of October 2004 in Leipzig, Germany.

The conference focuses on interdisciplinary cooperation of
Archaeologists, Archaeological Excavators, Preparateurs, Natural
Scientists and Conservator-Restorers. Main aim of the symposium is
the definition and uncovering of common grounds within that
scientific disciplines. After the intersections are made public a
mutual understanding is aspired which will lead to synergy effects.

Conference language is German. Simultaneous translation will not be
provided.
