government archive repository in the United Kingdom and following a
successful bid to the Heritage Lottery Fund we began an 18 month
training programme in the conservation of architectural plans in
November 2003. Over the period of 18 months the interns will
conserve over 3,000 plans from 27 London Victorian West End
theatres.

A vacancy has arisen and we are now looking to recruit an intern for
12 months. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic,
self-motivated conservation graduate keen to take part in our
'London's Theatreland' project. They will be expected to become an
integral member of the 'Theatrelands' team consisting of 3 interns
and a project supervisor. The post would suit a recent paper
conservation graduate.
