Gelatin

Liquid fish gelatin is used to consolidate flaking paint layers,
specifically polychrome gilded works of art. How does the
application and stability of a natural product like Isinglass
compare to a commercial equivalent product such as Sea-Gel (a high
purity fish gelatin containing very small percentages of plasticizer
and preservatives).
