Talosel

There is a material called "Talosel" or "resine talosel" and is
associated with Line Vautrin (1913-1997).  Basic Internet searching
has led me to speculation that it is actually cellulose acetate. Can
anyone confirm this--or offer different information?  Does anyone
know how it is made?
