Cultural Landscapes, Laws, Management, and Public Participation This
conference will adopt a holistic and wide-ranging approach to the
theme of Cultural Landscapes. The term is used in both the literal
and the figurative sense and the conference organisers invite papers
which address any of the themes listed below:

    *   Cultural Landscapes, Museums and Heritage (Tangible and
        Intangible)
    *   Cultural Landscapes and Visual Culture
    *   Cultural Landscapes, Identities and Communities
    *   Cultural Landscapes, Tourism and Economics
    *   Cultural Landscapes and Architecture
    *   Cultural Landscapes and Education
    *   Cultural Landscapes Management and Protection

The seminar will be hosted by the International Centre for Cultural
and Heritage Studies (ICCHS) at the University of Newcastle Upon
Tyne, U.K.

The deadline for Submission of Proposals and Posters November 12,
2004.
