Awlcraft 2000

Does anyone have experience with the acrylic resin Awlcraft 2000
made by Awlgrip and distributed by US Paints? It's typical use is
for protection of boats and marine objects, but I understand it has
been used by Polich Art Works in NYC on some Frank Stella sculptures
and others in the past. I'm interested in knowing how the coating
has performed as a protective layer for outdoor sculpture, and other
conservator's experiences and in maintaining the coating, and it's
reversibility.
